Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional layer of security that helps protect your Leadlander account from unauthorized access. Here’s how to set it up:

Step 1: Log in to your Leadlander account.

Step 2: Select the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen to view your Personal Settings.

Step 3: Select the “Login/Security” tab from the menu.

Step 4: Here, you’ll find options for Password and Two-Factor Authentication. Select “Enabled” from the drop-down menu.

Step 5: Follow the instructions on the page to install and configure your authenticator app. You can download apps such as Google Authenticator or Authy on your mobile device.

Step 6: Open the 2FA app and scan the QR code displayed on the Leadlander 2FA setup screen.

Step 7: Enter the code generated by the 2FA app into the “Verification Code” field on the Leadlander 2FA setup screen.

Step 8: Select “Verify” to complete the setup.

From now on, when you log in to your Leadlander account, you will be prompted to enter a six-digit code from your 2FA mobile device app in addition to your password. This ensures that only you can access your account, even if someone else knows your password.

It is important to keep the 2FA app installed on your mobile device and keep your mobile device secure, as it is the device which will be used to generate the authentication codes needed to login to your Leadlander account.

Please note: Losing access to the mobile device or uninstalling the 2FA app could make it difficult to login to your Leadlander account, so it’s important to keep a backup of the recovery codes provided during the setup or contact Leadlander support for assistance.
